sir (mr brewin), how do u do qu 3 and 4 on ex 7h?
Qu3: find eqn of tangent at (2, 5) on curve y = x^2 + 1. Then find eqn of normal on same curve at (1, 2).
You’ll then have 2 eqns, and you can find the crossing point using sim eqns.
Same idea for 4… but both normals.

It would obviously be great if you could for practice… but if you’re stuck for time and feel confident on the integration stuff I’d rather you got the past paper done.
