Here’s the link to the slides on the Trapezium rule. We’ll go over the C2 paper you’ve had back on Friday, and the one you’re handing to me today, which I’ll get marked for then.

is there an after school revision session 2moro?
I expect so Marsha. Isn’t it a timetabled lesson?
Sorry – I know it’s timetabled, but it’s exam leave, and I’m afraid I just can’t do it tomorrow. Do pop in during lunch if you want a half our session…
Ooops, sorry! Forgot it was study leave.
when drawing diagrams of trigonometric functions in ex8a, must i use a protractor in the exam?
can i draw all my graphs in pencil, in the exam?
how do i interpret the graph into pi, in ex8a qu1k?
Marsha,
Not quite sure what you mean by needing a protractor to draw graphs. In that exercise, you are being asked to make a table of values so that you can plot a number of points and then join them up with a smooth curve.
Pencil can (should) be used for diagrams in the exam. Be careful that it is not too feint as the papers are scanned so that they can be marked online. If you used pen that would be OK but this will not allow you to correct a mistake easily.
I’m sorry I do not have my copy of C2 with me. I’m guessing that the graph is using radians. Remember that 180 degrees is equal to pi radians. So 90 degrees is pi/2 radians and so on.
Hope this is of help.
Mr Riedel
ok.
by graph i meant diagram of the angle in a circle.
You don’t need a protractor for A level Marsha. I don’t have a C2 here either so can you type out on here what exactly you have been asked to do please?
Thanks.
