Two questions for you…
1. If I had a regular polygon with exterior angle of 18 degrees, can you tell me how many sides it has?
2. Is it possible to have a regular polygon with exterior angle of 50 degrees? Explain your answer!
For next lesson please… Answers in your Ex books, not here!
2nd Polygon Homework:
Investigate why quadrilaterals, triangles and hexagons tessellate, but pentagons do not. Draw some tessellation patterns to explain your answer.

hi
Hi Mr B!
Elloo i have logged on
Hello
i dont really understand number two ??
On Number it is no
Matilda – use what you know about REGULAR polygons with what you know about EXTERIOR angles.
Mrs T
This is sooooo hard!! i don’t really get it!
In our books it say any polygons exterior angle is always 360d but this question says 18d i don’t get it!
Roisin – read the information more carefully and THINK about it! What does an angle of 360 degrees look like?
I think you will find if you go back to your notes, that what it really says is that for all polygons, the exterior angles ADD UP TO 360 degrees – which means something entirely different.

Oh Yeah thanks Mrs. T
is there a ict blog ??? i need to ask how do you open your school email from home
Jamila – no ICT blog – Maths is where it all happens
