Hi Laura,
It was mostly OK but points you need to watch out for are:
Binomial expansion when you need to use a number for x – do the expansion in terms of x first. Only then, sub in the number, and don’t round it unless the question tells you to because you might need to check the agreement with the true value.
Binomial again: with the x-squared and x-cubed terms you are putting the 2 and 3 on the x only. You need to put a bracket round the term first.
Don’t forget the + and – when you square root.
Binomial: if n is a positive integer, the expansion is valid for all x.

They are all taken from the Edexcel past papers on their website – limited range and not all have D1 there so you should be able to find them. Hope it’s going OK
