It would be good if you could explore which sites might be of use. I don’t mind if you make a note of the web address so you can put it into your plan.

Remember, when talking about your hypotheses and how to test them, your plan should have two main themes:

1. What Data Should Be Collected?

You need to think about:

• What is the population from which the data will be collected?

• How reliable is the data?

• What data is to be collected and how will it be recorded?

• Which sampling method will be used and why?

• How large should the sample be?

• What problems might arise and how will they be overcome?

• How might bias arise and how can this be minimised?

• How could the data be collected?

• What data sheets will be required?

If you are collecting data in groups you’ll need to give an explicit account in your plan of how you will do this.

2. What Statistical Techniques Can Be Used?

Think in particular about how you can collect bivariate data so that you can use the more advanced techniques that we have done.
