Vanessa,

3c) links in with 3b. Think about putting lots of these triangles together (all the points at the centre) How many would you need?

2f) What do you know about isosceles triangles? What size are the angles in an equilateral triangle?

Hi Hannah,

There are a few facts you need to remember which will help you work everything else out.

1. With regular polygons, the sides are all the same length and the angles are all the same size.

2. The exterior angles ALWAYS add up to 360 for every polygon.

3. The interior and exterior angle at any corner add up to 180 because they are angles on a straight line.

4. The number of angles is the same as the number of sides.

Does that help to get you started?
