How do you work out the average speed?!

Avg speed = total distance/total time
(you should know this from your physics too!)
hiya- i have a problem with the maths hw…. ex 12B. To expand the brackets when you have to times 3x by 4x, would it be 12x squared or something else?

Exponential equations are equations with x as the power
eg 2^x =8
therefore x=3 because 2^3=8

hi can any one help me… Is this answer correct for:
Q: expand and simplify (2k-3m)(3k+2m)
A: I got 6k-5km-6m
Is that right i cant work out if it need a square or not? thanks
